A thousand ways of Mass
|The Physical Body and Stress, part 1 »|
Doorway One – or working with Enneagram One, First Chakra, Mass, the ch'ien trigram (Heavens) and Tarot symbols I. MAGICIAN and XI. FORCE
There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the ground;
there are a thousand ways to go home again.
Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi
Look at it this way...
When you get out of bed in the morning, what is around? Mass of things? Tasks? Trodden pathways? Or is it just Your Music?
When you travel by car to work, what surrounds you? Mass of glass? Sharp bits? Bridges to cross? Or is it just Your Story?
When you run a marathon, exhausted, and your feet hurt, and you smell sweat of a hundred others, what is it? Mass? Or is it just a Being of Light experiencing Himself in a flow?
Are these experiences specific? Are they boring, tedious, or in other words. do things resist? And what if every slab of concrete, every sweating arm, every hurting foot is a Playground for Your Imagination?
Tell me about your despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting --
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
Mary Olivier (ennea 1) – Wild Geese
Please bear in mind, that the mode of action is something quite distinctly different than the mode of experience. You can get stuck for life in the first. You get released and washed clean by the other.
It is easy to see how we get stuck. The foremost sensation is that of Crunch. It happens in the outside world, among the objects as well as inside your body, in between bones. The objects are the bones of the world, just like real bones are yours. And, somehow, all this big bag of bones crunches.
Please bear in mind: is your life an objective process? Or is it scintillating quicksilver?
This is essential for Mass. Experience the lines that hold this 3d construct within network of worry. Then try to bend the lines. Feel the lines that define you, both inside and outside, flexible and liquid. Do it by any means necessary. Actally, it's best when you ask yourself how to do it best. Maybe a „just sitting” will do. Maybe a walk in nature, or maybe creating a piece of art can help trigger it. You must ask yourself.
All you do is watch when it stops to be fun. It must be fun, keep it fun, and when it's not, stop.
Turn around, look at the horizon.
And bend deeper.
Connect with the tensions that inhabit your consciousness, and begin to die into them. Form a liquid bubble of trust and start to ask yourself – what am I here for? To make the orchestra sound complete? Or to be dissonance within harmony, a dissonance that needs to achieve some meaningless goal? That harmony is obvious when you turn around.
Be powerless against your deep calling in the moment. Assume that your mode can change in the blink of an eye – so even if it doesn't, wait openly. Feel the laughing Electricity relax the Power. Experience the music. Dance your Self.
Force and Magician
We live for light. We live for electricity. And yet we find them nowhere except in moments of mind liquidity. This moment is always fresh and infinite. Can we relax our brain enough to see it?
Let the mind speak. Look out for these moments of lightness during the day. Look out for moments of light. Search for memory for who you are, find the pure joy and extasy of things, delve into it We are not here by accident. There is purpose to your being here, you-here-submerged-in -this-situation, and this purpose is called Yourself. You are part of the body of this situation. So forget about personal Force. Forget about carving any meaning into your life – let your life be meaningless, just for now. Find a child that just is inside that big funny caravan that drags on. No purpose. Now the only purpose is your being.
Discover being in thousand different objects – that's why they are here for. Just keep out a constant scan for this happiness. And ask yourself – am I not really blessed that I am?
People look at you
People will look at you. They will begin to see something strange. Something beyond the everyday hum-drum of bodies, the crunch of thoughts and streetcars, the gnashing of bones. They will not know what it is. Some will be curious. Some scared. Still some, like you once, ready to see the completeness and thus start their learning.
It always starts the same. You travel by bus, and (don't know what it is but) somehow all the gazes seem to be on you. Do they really stare at you? All of them at once? And do they really not realize they do?
You try to visualize what they see. Light playing at the edges of vision? Some weird transparence, like a soap bubble? Or and insect from Andromeda stretching wings on timeless flower? They are all so busy and focused. They are solidified in shape, the distinctness of their human existence, how they could know there is more? Within clear boundaries they trod their lives, forcefully and dutifully, without slightest suspicion there is, just round the corner, that timeless reality that you begin to see.
Hey, what was THAT?
Always the same. They look again, and say: Wait a minute, what was THAT? But then fear makes them stop, so they try to persuade themselves it was nothing. Insects from Andromeda just plain could not exist. So people are back to observing the dirt on the bus window.
Then they again sneak a look, and again. They cannot hold themselves, you know. Somehow all the sad, burdened Mass on the bus cannot stop staring at you. This is, as general rule, how Mass reacts to a diamond crystallized inside the coal block. They are unsure what to think. And yet, they admire. Perhaps one day they would like to... But now, no. They are just looking with wonder. Like children first time in the fun park, eyes wide, they look.
Look at it this way...
